These rough road adventures will take the four-wheeler on excursions out of Ridgecrest, Randsburg, Mojave, Boron/Kramer Junction, Victorville and Barstow. As always, Roger and Loris Mitchell describe the flora, fauna, geology, and particularly history encountered along the way. This 304-page book is well illustrated with many old photographs. Indeed, Roger has spent so many years poking around the Mojave Desert, that some of the historic photos were taken by himself! The jeep trails described are rated from very easy to extremely difficult, but most are within the capability of most modern SUVs and pickups. Each trail described includes a degree of difficulty rating, detailed directions, GPS coordinates, and route maps.
